Sheffield University Shamed Over Vivisection

20 Activists today held a visual protest and publicity stunt at the University of Sheffield as part of the Week of Action Against Vivisection in Universities.

Campaigners, donning lab clothes, animal masks and fake blood, held a die-in outside the student union, whilst others holding banners climbed onto the building roof. Hundreds of leaflets were handed out to students and staff alike, both of which showed interest and keen support for the new campaign against UoS.

Following lunch, activists headed off around the campus to distribute leaflets and spread awareness of the vivisection at UoS. Information was left on notice boards, in pigeon holes, research papers and anywhere else where they would be seen.
